Huffington Post – The trend of in-demand high-skilled workers and unemployed low-skill workers is likely to continue through 2020, according to a new study by the Kinsey Global Institute. It is projected that 90-95 million low-skilled workers (defined as those with less than a high-school education) will be unemployed, while the workforce will be short nearly 40 million workers with a college degree. This is expected to lead to high salary demands for educated workers while the glut of low-skilled employees could drive down salaries.
