US Department of Education Releases State Rankings
Oct 05, 2011Department of Education – The Department of Education has released its report ranking states according to achievement on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). States are ranked according to abilities in reading and math, as well as high-school and college graduation rates. Mississippi finished first in percentage of students going to college, while Alaska finished last. The District of Columbia finished first in 6-year graduation rates, with Arizona finishing at the bottom.
